THE Queens Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

The Diamond Jubilee River Pageant, on 3 June 2012, will be one of the main events of a four-day bank holiday weekend marking the Queen's 60-year reign. The Queen will head the fleet, which will include vessels from the UK, Commonwealth, and around the world.

Northern Exposure Rescue has been asked to manage the safety for this event by the Port of London Authority as we are the ONLY organisation in the UK that has delivered safety cover for events on anywhere near this scale previously.

Further Information and registration forms for anyone wishing to help with this event are available on the Queens Diamond Jubilee Pages.

THE Great River Race: September 2012

After the great success of last year’s Great River Race, Northern Exposure Rescue has again been asked to co-ordinate the safety for the Race. This is due in no small part to all our volunteers hard work

To keep the competitors safe we need a fleet of at least 40 safety boats to spread along the whole course. If you would like to help out with this years GRR or want more information go to the GRR pages.

The best view of the GRR is from a safety boat in the middle of the river Thames.
